Dori Neill Cage, M.D.

Dr. Dori Cage enjoys getting to know her patients and providing high quality care. She likes to stay active and enjoys helping her patients stay active in their lives.

She is Board Certified with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons in Orthopedic Surgery and Hand and Microvascular Surgery. She regularly recertifies in both specialties.

In addition to her regular practice, she has a tradition of helping those in need. She has traveled to Belize, Mexico and Peru to teach and provide care. She has worked with the SDCMC Project Access Program since its early days, providing care for those who would otherwise not receive treatment.

Dr. Cage also promotes youth fitness and sponsors the Grant Elementary School Jogathon and the Strive Cycling Team.

She is an active leader and is on the AAOS National Board of Counselors and the California Orthopaedic Association Board. She was President and Board member for the San Diego Western Orthopaedic Association as well as a board member of the Arthritis Foundation San Diego Chapter and Medical Committee for many years.  The office continues to support the Arthritis Foundation with a team at the Jingle Bell Run/Walk annually.

Dr. Cage enjoys teaching. She mentors premedical, nursing and PA students in the office. She speaks annually at the UCR Premedical conference and participates in teaching programs for residents. She has an active shadowing program for younger students interested in medicine.

Dr. Cage loves traveling with her family. On weekends, she may be found on a paddle board or windsurfer. She also enjoys running, hiking and backpacking. She is an avid reader and enjoys book club.
